Aura Sanchez Garrido is an actress for Spanish films and television. She has acted in Stockholm and also in the television shows El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido is an Madrid native, born in 1989. Tomas Garrido was a conductor of orchestras as well as a composer. The mother of her daughter Pilar S nchez is a painters. She took her first piano lessons at four years old, and shortly after that, she began to study ballet. One of her best friends was an English speaker, and she learned to speak English from her. After finishing her high school studies, she went to the Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico located in Madrid. She studied the art of interpretation for three years specialising in textual translation. However, she left in 2010, when she was offered an acting role in Planes para manana. This role earned she an award of the Silver Biznaga for best supporting actress and a Goya Awards nomination in the best breakthrough actress category among other nominations.
