Dennings was homeschooled, and then once did she attend a traditional school. As she was acting in her early years, homeschooling worked best for her. When she was 14, she graduated from her high school. When she was nine years old, she started to act in commercials. Then she moved from Los Angeles with her family after high school to pursue acting. The actress began her auditions under the name of Kat Dennings. Kat Dennings' acting debut came after her move to LA after appearing in the HBO series "Sex and the City" in the year 2000. Kat Dennings starred in "Sex and the City" on HBO.
